How It Works

  1. 30 Minute Intro Call: Learn more about Cozy Penguin and what makes our team and approach amazing for you and your newest family member.

  2. Care Manager Consultation: Meet your care manager, who will act as your personal contact throughout our engagement.

  3. Match & Prep: We build your custom care plan, deliver our “Before the Hospital” and “Prepare the House” checklists, and match you to your night care nanny.

  4. First Night Flight: Night care nanny arrives with everything needed; you wake up to coffee and a full care log.

  • We believe that most families get tremendous value from having a night care nanny. Additionally, there are certain situations where night care nannies are EXTREMELY valuable. This includes:

    • Families where one or both of the partners travel for work

    • Families who are expecting twins or triplets

    • Families where one or both of the partners have demanding jobs

    • Families who expect and/or are planning to have a Cesarian delivery

    • Families with toddlers or other children at home

  • Oh my gosh, congratulations! One of our co-founding families just welcomed twins in November 2024, and so we’re fully aware of all the excitement, anxiousness, and additional care required when taking care of twins.

    Given that our night care nannies are taking care of two children at a time, the cost may be higher than the listed price for a single child. We’re happy to provide more information during the introductory consultation.

  • Absolutely! Our night care nurses are happy to provide guidance and support you throughout your breastfeeding journey.

    Many moms choose to have their babies brought into their room to breastfeed at night before returning to the nursery / sleeping area for soothing and sleep time.

  • Absolutely. Your sense of safety and wellbeing is one of our most important priorities.

    We perform background checks on all of our night care nannies and perform reference checks to ensure you receive the top quality of care.

  • Typical schedules run Sunday through Friday night to ensure you have the energy you need to get through the week.

    After learning more about your expected due date (or start date), we will evaluate for any scheduling disruptions and work to minimize the impact to your well-being.

    We will NOT send a care provider to your house if the caregiver is feeling unwell. For the safety of all our families, we ask you to give us notice if a member of your family is unwell to prevent the spread of illness.
